He came to a farm at Egge, just south of Strand, in 1691 through marrying GISLAUG ANDERSDTR, the widow of the previous owner. A year after Gislaug died, Krispinus married KRISTENSE LARSDTR MYKLEBUST and moved to farm at Myklebust, in a valley a few miles to the east of Egge. The origin of his third wife, INGEBJORG JONSDTR, is unknown, but she could conceivably have been the sister of the previous tenant of the farm at Myklebust, Peder Jonson, whose father had had it before him. It is not certain that Ingeborg, rather than her predecessor Kristense, was Kristense's mother, but the custom of naming the first daughter of a new wife after the deceased wife makes the identification likely. ANDERS took over his father's farm in 1740. He married Katrine Eiriksdtr (b c 1712) and had a son, Krispinus, who died aged 21 at Sunnmore. Katrine died in 1768 and Anders then married Mari Jakobsdtr Hilde (b c 1726). They had at least one son, Krispinus (b c 1770), who took over his father's farm in 1795.
