MICHEL FUNTIN (or Fontein or Van Thein) was a citizen of Christiania (Oslo) in 1577. He became Chief Officer of Oslo in 1591 and 2, and again in 1596, 1599 and 1602. He was a vintner in 1596 and a timber merchant in 1599.

THORA (or Tore) HANSDTR came from Hvam in Nes by Romerike. She inherited a farm there from her grandfather Saebjorn Trondson when he died (after 1579). (The cellars of that farm building still exist below the present building, erected in the 1720's and now the centrepiece of a group of old farm buildings at Hvam ("Gamle Hvam") which are open to the public.) She also owned farms at Boler, Tomter, Taterud, Rotnes and Leiring.
In 1597 she "with her 3 children" visited her sister Adelus in Sorum in connection with an inheritance following the death of Oluf Kalips. In 1604, after her husband had died, she mortgaged some property in Fladerly to Niels Thomason, and in 1608 her farm in Hvam to Helge Amundson Hvam.

ANNE was baptised in Oslo between 15 Oct and 22 Dec 1589. Queen Anna gave her a golden christening present, and her father appears to have given her a necklace.

She married Jochum Grill, a citizen of Oslo, and they had 5 children, the eldest, Herman, becoming a customs priest in Oslo. Anne outlived her husband who died around 1643.

HANS appears to have been baptised between 1597 and 1599. (The record says "buried" but that is clearly a mistake.) He later became a timber merchant in Oslo. He had 2 children, Lauritz and Karen, both of whom received diplomas on 21 May 1651.
