Cathy Ann Jupin, 77, of Hudson, Fla., formerly of Belle Vernon, peacefully passed away sur rounded by her family on Jan. 3, 2025, at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, Fla. Cathy was born on April 18, 1947, at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital, graduated from Bellmar High School in 1965, and on Oct. 15th of that year married George E. Jupin. They recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. Cathy was a faithful and active member of First Presbyterian Church in Belle Vernon before moving to Florida. She was a member of Monessen Chapter No. 205 of Order of the Eastern Star. Before retiring, Cathy was employed by PSCU (formally Payment System for Credit Unions) in St. Petersburg, Fla., as a systems analyst. Cathy was dedicated to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed taking them to Walt Disney World several times a year. It is said that she never had a bad thing to say about anyone and was always ready to have a conversation with her friends and family. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Reinhardt Cain; father, Ralph Nelson Cain Sr.; and brother, Robert Raymond Cain. She is survived by her husband, George E. Jupin of Hudson, Fla.; daughter, Jill Ferguson (Joseph) of New Port Richey, Fla.; daughter, Keri Jupin (friend Lori Gicker) of Hudson, Fla.; and son, Daniel Jupin of Hudson, Fla.; and brothers, Ralph N. Cain Jr. (Candice) and Lionel R. Cain (Wendy). Grandchildren include Alexis Apel, Michael Apel (Gale Mitchelson) and great-grandson, Wallace Apel of New Port Richey, Fla. A private family service was held Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, officiated by the Rev. Ralph N. Cain Jr. at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Trinity, Fla.
